Guitar and Bass
Jesse grew up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. His interest in music began in middle school, with guitar and later bass lessons, after attending a music camp in Ohio where renowned bassist Bernard Harris was his instructor. He enjoyed collaborating with other musicians in performance programs and ensembles throughout high school and college.
While still attending high school, Jesse began to teach his peers. After graduation in 2015, he taught for two years at Wye River Upper School, a school for students with learning disabilities, providing private lessons, group instruction, and helping to prepare the students for their music expo’s. Jesse has been a professional musician since 2018, recording and performing in genres such as Jazz, Funk, Rock, Country, and Motown with bands throughout Maryland, DC, and Delaware. Jesse attended Anne Arundel Community College; he holds an Associate of Arts degree. Jesse’s hobbies include biking, hiking, and snowboarding.
Jesse enjoys sharing his passion for guitar and bass with enthusiastic students, helping them to achieve their goals and reach their potential all while having fun in a professional, motivating learning environment.
