Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele
A native of Wellsboro, PA, Stephanie began piano instruction at the age of four and later added voice, guitar, clarinet, and ukulele to the list of instruments she plays. She currently holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education/Choral from the University of Delaware. Stephanie studied under Sara Seglem Hocking, Dr. Melanie Dement, Dr. Duane Cottrell, and Dr. Paul Head.
Stephanie spent four years teaching in elementary, middle, and high schools. While teaching in a classroom setting, Stephanie worked with elementary school music classes and high school choirs. She taught three different high school choirs including a mixed choir, women’s choirs, and a cappella choirs. She also directed, produced, and choreographed multiple musicals including “The Music Man”, “Shrek the Musical”, and “Beauty and the Beast”. In addition to her classroom teaching, Stephanie is an experienced private vocal instructor able to teach in a variety of styles including jazz, classical, and musical theater.
Stephanie is currently pursuing her Masters of Music Education and Conducting from the University of Maryland- College Park under the direction of Dr. Michael Hewitt and Dr. Kenneth Elpus. Stephanie is an enthusiastic fan of Disney and baseball and is thrilled to be a part of the Harmonic family.
