Yueheng Lin was the second prize winner of the 2022 Tiziano Rossetti International PianoCompetition. Her playing has been praised for its narrative depth and emotional vitality. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, Berkman Hall at the Hartt School, and the Concert Hall of the Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
In addition to her work as a soloist, Yueheng is active in chamber music and collaborative piano. She previously worked as a collaborative pianist with the Simsbury Light OperaCompany, a nonprofit organization in the United States, where she accompanied vocalists and participated in various productions.
As a passionate educator, Yueheng has taught more than 20 students through her private piano studio in Wuhan, China. Her students have earned top prizes in regional competitions such as the Yangtze River Cup and the Wuhan Arts Talent Competition, and many have passed ABRSM and RCM certification exams. She also offers online lessons to Chinese students based in Los Angeles. Her teaching is known for being
flexible, student-centered, and focused on developing strong technique and musical understanding.
Her teaching philosophy centers on being a supportive, passionate, and patient mentor, helping students discover their own natural and comfortable ways of playing, and guiding them into the world of music with joy.
Yueheng Lin is currently continuing her piano studies with Marija Stroke and other distinguished piano masters, focusing on refining her stage presence and artistic style. She earned her Master of Music degree from the Hartt School, and previously received her Bachelor ’s degree from the renowned Wuhan Conservatory of Music in China.
