Please contact us to select a day and time that lessons will occur. That lesson day and time belongs to that student until we are informed otherwise. Harmonic will be closed for some holidays and other seasonal breaks. Please click here for a current calendar.
If you are unable to commit to a weekly lesson on the same day and time, then we can schedule single lessons when they are available. Scheduling single lessons will be dependent upon that teacher’s availability.
Cancelling or Rescheduling Lessons
We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or requests to reschedule lessons.
School Year Lessons [September 1 – June 15]
Every student will be allowed to cancel 1 lesson per month for no charge with more than 24 hours notice. For the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and possibly 5th lesson in a month, you can make a request to reschedule a lesson with more than 24 hours notice, but you cannot cancel those lessons for no charge. If there are no options to reschedule, then the student will be charged for that missed lesson.
If at any time you would like to cancel all lessons going forward, we will need more than 24 hours to do so.
If you need to take a break from lessons we will need more than 24 hours notice to cancel lessons and you will give up your spot with that teacher on the chosen day and time. When you are ready to return to lessons we will find a new day and time with your teacher of choice if they have availability. Alternatively you can continue to pay weekly to keep your chosen spot with your teacher until you are ready to resume lessons.
The lessons do not automatically stop on June 15th, you must reach out to us about your summer schedule.
Summer Lessons [June 16 – August 31]
We encourage all of the students to continue their lessons over the summer and we will be as flexible as possible with the schedules.
During this time period, you can cancel or reschedule any lessons as needed as long as we are given more than 24 hours notice.
If a student is sick, has a cold, or anything contagious – please stay home. There is no charge for a missed lesson if a student is sick. We ask that you let us now as soon as you can and no later than the start of a scheduled lesson. Please be respectful of this policy and do not take advantage by claiming a student is sick if they are not actually sick.
Teacher Absences and Substitutes
If a teacher is sick or is unable to teach a lesson, we will do our best to offer a substitute teacher for that lesson. On some occasions we are unable to find a substitute when a teacher is out for the day. If that happens, we will offer to reschedule or cancel a lesson for no charge. Students also have the right to say no to a substitute teacher and cancel a lesson when a teacher is out at no charge.
