Piano, Viola, Violin
Violist Christine Nien-Tzu Lin is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Boston University, where she also earned her Master of Music degree under the guidance of Professor Michelle LaCourse.
In 2022, Christine was named a winner of the Boston University Soloists’ Competition with her performance of Penderecki’s Viola Concerto. She subsequently appeared as soloist with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra under Maestro James Burton and was featured on the Boston University String Department Recital Series. Her artistry and dedication have been recognized with the String Department Award in both 2022 and 2025. Since 2022, Christine has taught at Boston University, giving private viola lessons, coaching viola sectionals for the All-Campus Orchestra, and working with non-major chamber music ensembles.
