He was granted an apprenticeship for classical violin with the Chesapeake Orchestra for the River Concert Series for 2 years (2015, 2016) and then put classical music in his back pocket to go pursue bluegrass, rock, funk, jazz, folk, and any genre he could get his fingers on with the violin. Crosby was the Orchestra Director at Patuxent and Calvert HIgh School for the 2021-2022 school year. He has done multiple national tours as a fiddle player and guitar player, has worked as an audio engineer, recorded his own albums, and is a motivated self learner who loves to share that knowledge with others! He plays violin and guitar primarily, but is also proficient at teaching piano, mandolin, music theory, and slide guitar! Crosby is an energetic teacher who places a great importance on diversity of lesson plans to keep things exciting and reinforce our knowledge in different ways.
